Carousel Inn???

Hi all- We've been to DL MANY times (sort of addicts... in a good way). The last few years we've stayed at Candy Cane Inn & Desert Palms, and like them both- in fact like them both better than the Paradise Pier if you compare the cost with what the room is like. We did not care for the Fairfield Inn by Marriott, nor the Park Place Inn. Even the Hyatt in Garden Grove was not that nice. We've priced out our Nov. trip, and saw a good rate at the Carousel Inn, but have never stayed there. What is it like - clean, beds comfortable, fridge in the room (if so, what size), etc? We're not in the room other than to sleep, but I am slightly picky about what the room is like.
 
We had a good stay last year, really good location, cleaner bigger than normal rooms, good sized fridge and microwave, good breakfast. only negative was the pool which is small and no hot tub.
 
We have stayed at the Carousel Inn twice this year. The beds have pillow top mattresses which are very comfortable. We really like staying there and the walking distance to the park is great!:)
 
Many people on this board really like staying there. Biggest complaint has been the hot tub, or lack of.
