Hi all,

After a lot of deliberating on our trip in December, we have decided we want to stay one extra night off site (we are staying in the VGC). We do want to still be walking distance from the parks as we want to spend the evening in there.

I've looked into a few hotels and read A LOT of reviews :surfweb:

My current thinking is to go for the Carousel Inn and try and get the Mice Chat rate I have seen mentioned on other threads.

Does anyone who has/hasn't stayed there think this is a decent choice?

Many, many thanks :)

The Carousel is great! One of my two choices of places to stay. There and the Tropicana. The Carousel has clean rooms, comfy beds, very close to the park. It's a 5 minute walk your to the gates turn stiles :thumbsup2 It also sports a roof top pool which is nice and private.

Thanks so much - we've just booked concierge rooms with the mice chat rate :goodvibes

I just looked up this hotel and I can get it for $10 a night cheaper than the Tropicana (which I am already booked) staying 5 nights, is it worth the extra $50 to stay where I am or swap to the carousel?

Thanks

AWESOME! I have stayed in the concierge. NIIIIIICE & QUIET! Our room was farther towards to back of the motel, and it was right across from the stairs going up to the rooftop pool. Also you should get a free hot breakfast with the concierge. Good call on the room!!! :thumbsup2 Quite honestly as much as any of the Carousel rooms are nice, I wont stay back at the Carousel again unless I score the concierge just for the fact that it was quiet, and comfortable. We wanted the concierge for this up coming trip but the rooms were booked! Fingers crossed for next time.

Thank you! :worship:

We're really looking forward to the whole trip and it's good to know it sounds like we've made a good choice ;)

We are looking at this hotel for our next stay. At those prices, I think it is well worth it and cheaper than what I have already researched.

We stayed at the Carousel on our last trip. Loved the location. We stayed in a standard room and it was clean and decent.

The reason we won't return is because the room was tiny. No place to put our luggage at all without tripping over it every time we turned around. I'm guessing that won't be in issue in the concierge rooms though.

HAHA! No problem! When we've stayed in the concierge room, there has always been 4 of us and we have had no problem with the size of the room. Enjoy your stay :cloud9: Hopefully you trip report it when you get back.

Hey Mystic Path,
What would you think of the size of the concierge room with a roll away bed in it? Also, what was the hot breakfast?
Thanks!
