Caroline Kennedy’s daughter has terminal cancer. Sad update 12/30

I do feel for Caroline. She had nothing to do with the wealth of the family. She just had the misfortune of dealing with the murder of her father, the murder of her Uncle, the untimely death of her brother and now this. I apologise if came across as uncaring. I am sorry about this happening to both Caroline but mostly her daughter that is in fact the one that is going to die from it. I guess I got wrapped up in all the stuff that is going on right now and how uncaring the wealth seem to be about it. She got every treatment and medical attention that in some cases might have turned it from terminal to survivor. A chance that millions of other people do not have access too. Right now it is even worse for those without money. They would have already been dead. It is so easy to lose sight of that fact. The Kennedy's have had a lot of misfortunes and we know about them because of the name Kennedy. Jane Smith on the other side of the tracks may have never been able to catch a break either, but no one cares.

Very sad. When she announced her cancer was terminal, I suspected she didn't have long. For all their fame, they are a very private family. I didn't think she would announce it if she still had a year to live. She wanted to spend that quietly with her family. I think she announced it as the time was near, giving people a chance send their sympathies, (pre-)condolences, to say goodbye, and rally around her mom ahead of time with support.
