Carnival (or any) cruises leaving from NY/NJ area??? HELP !!!

The Glory is about nine years old and one year out from a major retrofit, so things should be in good shape.

Sailing out of NY for five days pretty much limits you to Bermuda and the Bahamas. Instead of trying to fly to Miami or Ft Lauderdale, you might get better airfare to Orlando and cruise out of Port Canaveral to get to some of the Caribbean ports.

Keep in mind that August is hurricane season - I'd suggest trip insurance!

You can go to crusecritic.com, go to boards and select carnival cruise line. It is a huge forum like the disboards, tons of cruise info there.
