Hi everyone,
I am looking into the Caribe Royale for our trip this fall. Has anyone stayed there? I would love some feedback.

We stayed there last May. It is a conference hotel so it can get busy. But we didn't have any issues. We had a standard room. There was a little sitting area with a couch (i think it pulled out into a bed), a chair, a table, a tv, a small fridge, a coffee maker and a microwave. The bedroom had a door that closed it off from the sitting area. The two queen beds were very comfortable with fluffy pillows and the blackout curtains were very efficient at blocking out the light. We had two children with us so having two tvs and a room that could be closed off was a bonus. The bathroom was clean and while it wasn't big it wasn't tiny either. There is a restaurant on site. We did not eat there, but there is a small bakery that has breakfast and sandwiches items as well as desserts that was very good. The pool area got crowded very fast, but that is true of most Orlando hotels in the heat. Depending on when you got back for the day parking could be a tad far away, but it wasn't too big of an issue. There is transportation to the parks, but since we drove we did not use it. It was a very easy drive to WDW and there are restaurants near by (not with in walking distance). I would stay there again, however I would not pay the price posted on their website because I often see them in the hotwire secret deals (when they say the last person got caribe royal).

We stayed there in March for a conference. The room was clean, comfortable bed, nice pool but very crowded. We didn't eat at the resturants on site other than snacks and sandwiches. The bus service at the hotel was not convenient for people attending conferences due to a very limited schedule so we used uber and lyft to get to and from the parks. if we were looking for a hotel off disney property we would consider staying at the Caribe again.

We stayed last June for a week because we got a great price on Priceline. The room was nice - great to have the sitting area. However, parking was trouble for some of the nights. Also, there really isn't any food option nearby except for a convenience store with a small market across the street. We wouldn't return to Caribe Royale - travelled with 3 yo DS and 9 yo DD. I saw a good review about the Drury Inn, but it might be further than you want to stay as it is closer to Universal Studios. Drury Inn has a nice shopping area with a Whole Foods across the street. DI offer AAA discounts on the rooms, include breakfast and an evening kickback meal as well as soft drinks and popcorn in the afternoons from 3-10. We'd be inclined to stay there if we were going to stay off property again.

Just got back from a 7-night stay there with 3 friends. We booked a 2 bedroom villa & loved the extra space.
Since I booked through MouseSavers, we got free wireless & free buffet breakfast each morning. The hotel
is very nice, and we enjoyed our stay. The cost was very reasonable compared to onsite prices. The staff was
friendly and helpful, and housekeeping was outstanding. We had a couple of issues that were fixed immediately!
The downside was that none of us wanted to rent a car & drive, so we had to rely on limited shuttle service
to & from the parks ($4 round trip). We only used the return trip once, and decided to use cabs to get where we
wanted to go, when we wanted to go. And our villa was located in the very back of the property, so it was a long
walk back at the end of the day. We did stay at the Beach Club our first night, so I got my Disney fix :)
Since this was my first stay off property, it was an interesting experience. I missed being in the Disney bubble,
but for this trip, the extra bedroom & space was worth the $$ for cab fare.
