$113.aaa/rate needed something near sea world and love the slide. is this right across the street from a ponderosa? if it is than i think i past it by mistake and it looked ok, not too busy of a street, pro con?

We stayed there last April and it was really nice. The pool was also nice.

I think it was across from a Ponderosa, but I'm not positive. It's right next door to Buena Vista Suites.

That's a very good rate you got, too.

If we go back in April again, I would definitely stay there, if I could get a decent rate. Unfortunately, it's almost $200 a night for a 1BR...too high for me!

Yes, across the street from Ponderosa. Not too far from Sea World, 5-10 minutes, if you don't mind the back roads.

Hotel itself is very nice, amazing pool with slide. Had friends stay there over Memorial Day. That is a really good rate.

We have stayed there three times, once in the one bedroom suite and twice in their two bedroom villas. We have always had a good time there. The price you were given is very good.

We stayed there in 2002, and it was very nice. We had a two-bedroom villa. They had a wonderful buffet breakfast that was included in the price of our room ... not sure if they still have that or not. Our only complaint was that the villas were quite a walk from the front desk area (and breakfast), and there wasn't ever any resort transportation available for the 7 of us.

Never stayed at Caribe Royale but drive by it each time we go to Disney -

As someone else said, there is a Ponderosa across the street, as well as an Asian Buffet, CVS, 7/11 w/gas station, a Florida souvenier shop an urgent care & a pizza type shop.

The road is four lanes, with a grass median - we see folks crossing the street to the shops frequently. The intersection can back up sometimes of the day. If I need to make a left out of there if I've stopped at CVS on the way to Disney I will make a right hand turn and then a U turn!!

If you go to the intersection (535 & 536) and turn left you are headed toward Rt 192 with all the other touristy Orlando shops, restaurants etc. It's a good location.

You might also ask them if they still have the Orlando Magicard rate (they used to). If it's better than the AAA, you can get a card from www.go2orlando.com.
