It is a coconut that you can send. It is an actual coconut.

here's a tricky question since we're on the subject of those coconut postcards, since it's an actual fruit, does that mean they can't be mailed internationally?

You know the coconuts you see on Survivor.....still have the outside husks on them (not like you buy in the store). They look like that. The milk has been drained from them. They are painted on the side and have a priority mail label on them.

Not sure if you can mail them internationally but I bet the castmembers in Old Port Royale can tell you. You know it's been asked before.

The fax number that I was given is 407-934-3288. I normally just call CRO to have my requests notated with my reservation, however, this year it's a bit more complicated so the manager asked me to fax my request in a week prior to arrival. We have family members ranging in age from 8 months to 92 years old, plus my husband is a disabled vet. We need to make sure our rooms are located on a first floor, close to a DSA and as close to the bridge to OPR as possible. My grandfather is a lively 92 year old, however, he can't manage stairs too well and neither can my husband if he's been walking all day. Other than that, the walking within the resort isn't bad at all and they both will manage well.

Hi i see we will be at the cbr almost the same time as you we will be checking in on the 27 and leaving on sept 5.. we will also be doing a grand gathering and have 3 rooms. grand gathering called me today to re-verify
my ressie and to get 3 rooms blocked together...cool i never knew they did that. mom will need a room on the 1st flo0r due to her leg problems, they told me if mom is on the 1st floor the other 2 rooms will be there as well

since I did re-confirm with my original ressie with the cm about mom, do you think i need to fax to the cbr and tell them about mom??

wow, we, too, will be at cbr from 8/27 (but only) 'til 9/3... doing a grand gathering! we got the same call today! oh, and my mom has mobility issues also (wheelchair) so we were told a first floor for our three rooms will be do-able too! i told her that the second group to check in (on 8/31) is "less important" (in a nice way LOL) and as long as they are in the same section, we don't care about what floor they are on (teehee, let them climb the stairs! LOL!)

Hi ya Cheryl! WooHoo! Hopefully we'll see each other! Did you request a certain island? Yes, I was told to still send a fax to CBR with all of our details because of our situation...hubby disabled vet and 92 year old grandfather who can not manage stairs. The manager at CBR said to list our Grand Gathering number, Reservation numbers, all names and ages of the parties and who is in what rooms, etc.... I also requested Aruba 51 or Jamaica 45 to be close to the bridge to OPR so my grandfather won't have far to walk.

Do you know what they are doing to the pool that will take them 8 months to complete?

I'm hoping they make it a walk in pool like some of the deluxe resorts. I just hate those stairs, my DS loves to run in and out of the pool.

They are nothing like a jet ski ... and they are slow but its all the fun... You really get to enjoy everything around u! I really dont think they will give your son a problem... if i remember there is just a steering wheel and something to make it go.... i tried looking at the picture to bring back a memory but the only picture I have of it is the hidden mickey! Sorry!

Hey all, I just read that they are installing slides at two of the quiet pools while the big one is down... does anyone know if they are going to leave the slides or are they just going to be there temp????

Can someone explain the breakfast options at OPR?
Is their a buffet and table service and any idea on pricing?

Also, what offsite or in-park suggestions should we try in the AM. Since we have a car should we drive to offsite breakfast and then just drive to the park to keep it short?

the only breakfast that i am aware of at CBR is the counter-service... shutters does not serve breakfast to the best of my knowledge...

we are actually flying in late we are landing about 9pm....
getting the kiddies to bed should be a challange since my niece and
nephew never been to dw before. but the next day its magic kingdom
so they need their rest

Right now, none of the quiet pools have slides -- just the main pool. Slides will be added to two of the quiet pools for next year, however, when the main pool undergoes its refurb.
