You will enjoy CBR. It is great for singles. Where you will be located is not a far walk to the food court and pool. You will not even notice the size of the resort.

If you don't have any luck maybe we'll see you at CBR!!
No luck again today.......I'm pretty sure I will be at the CBR resort ! I'm fine with it, just hoping to really get POP because my friends from work are there. But I am looking forward to trying out a new resort.
See ya in less than 3 weeks !

What do you think the chance of an early check in will be at CBR on Dec. 2? We're driving down (leaving Friday), and will get there sometime in the morning. DH will want to rest up for the evening (since he will be driving). I'm hoping we'll be able to get an early check in. What has been your experience on this?

The resorts are going to be very crowded so I don't know that there will be a clean room available. You may luck out and get into your room early so I would try for it.

Do you know if even if our room wasn't available, will they give us a parking spot? Guess DH could take a nap in the car, and the girls and I can explore! lol

Absolutely Holly ! Even if your room is not ready, you and family will be free to roam and explore the resort. Your hubby could nap by one of the pools on a lounge chair even. I'll be there Dec 1-4, so if I see you with your napping husband, I'll be sure to say "hi" !

They will check you in and give you a parking pass for the car. If you aren't real picky they may be able to find you a room.

OK. So I'm a little late posting, but we got back from CBR on 11/1 and I wanted to give everybody the latest from our point of view.

What a GREAT resort! SafetyMom and all the rest are correct--it is like being on vacation from your vacation. We went to Jamaica for our honeymoon, and that resort was very similar to CBR--the little pathways are all tree lined with beautiful landscaping, there are different kinds of birds walking around, the room we got was excellent--a corner room, 2124 I think in Martinique. I swear the carpet was brand new. We started with one towel animal and got a new one every day of our stay....

It was not really crowded when we went, but we never had to wait in line at the food courts. The pool was not very crowded, and the little beach nearest our room was always deserted.

My DD8 loved the little beaches and we spent time there every day. You don't have to bring beach toys--just buy one of those chicken in a pail meals, and there you go! We actually bought our food and ate in a hammock every day of our trip. Gotta watch for mosquitos at night--but a little bug spray and they totally leave you alone.

On Halloween night, they had their own Halloween party at the resort, with free candy apples, pumpking decorating and other little crafts for the kids, a dance contest with a live band, and Donald Duck was there! Really cute, and almost as fun as MNSSHP, and way less crowded!

Everybody at check in was great....the buses with one exception ran with a wait of no more than 5 minutes for whatever park we were going to, the bus to take us back to the airport was right on time....

I'm hoping to go back again and take DH and DS too--they would both love it.

Any questions, just ask!

Made it to the end and I can not remember everything I read. I am so excited we are headed down in April and I can not wait.

Could someone suggest the best area to view Illuminations from a hotel room?

Also if you want adjoining rooms is the request for adjoining or connected?

Where are some favorite places to drink coffee in the morning?

Thanks for the report, liveforthemagic! It's so good to hear good reviews of CBR.. especially since we leave in 2 weeks! :) Could you tell me more about the chicken in a pail meal, and the towel animals?

thanks for all the info. I just got off the phone and did request the Martinique buildings 24, 25 or 26 for our upcoming trip. I remember staying here back in 2001 but we must of staying on the other side.. looking forward to revisiting this resort. the pics are great.

Can anyone tell me
does CBR offer an area or help with 24 hour
Check in ADvance to airline flight for boarding.
Or do I need to make other arrangements.

I'm sure someone can help as always.

Happy Thanksgiving to you all!
My flight leaves in 21 hours :cloud9:

I can't seem to find the answer to my question, so I need to ask it... sorry if it's been asked (as I"m sure it has)

Anyway, is there free internet access in the rooms?

Is there a public place where guest can access email? I wasn't planning on bringing my laptop.

Two Quick question.
My younger sis is going to be staying at the Pop Century I was wondering:
What is or is there an easy way to get between the CBR and Pop Century?
Is transportation between any value hotels to the CBR easy?
