I would say unless there is a problem when they go to fill the pool or do the finishing touches it will open early. :)

No photos but just back from CBR. Cement is poured around the pool. It looks like it will be done on time or maybe even ahead of time.

Martinique 24 is back open and they are painting 25 and refurbing the rooms now.

Wooo Hooo! I'm hoping my request for a room in Martinique 24 will be granted! I'm definitely not holding my breath on the pool being open while we are there though.

I'm hoping your request is granted too....and that you take lots and lots of pictures....and that you post them here. :goodvibes

whats the best way to pre book a room?

We were hoping to stay in Jamaica, Aruba, or Martinique.

We arrive in a month so is now a good time to pre book or wait til nearer the time?

If the pool is going to be completed ahead of schedule, which of the three above villages would be the best choice?

Thanks

Just wondering where the water view rooms usually are?? That is the only location we could get as preferred was not available.

I have a question that someone on here could probably help me with... I am booked at CBR sept 12-17. My travel agent told me that I have a king size bed, but I'm not sure if its really even possible for her to know that this soon... So i guess my question is does the resort assign rooms this far in advance or is it when you get there??
TIA!:goodvibes

After finding out CBR would have Nemo themed rooms available I had to put in a room request for my sister. Nemo is her favorite movie. She had a baby last april and he has a "bad fin" like Nemo. Her son was born with part of a foot missing. She is now in love with that movie after seeing it for the first time last week (I'm visiting with my 4 year old and brought a "few" movies along).
Let's hope we get our wish granted for september:goodvibes :goodvibes

At CBR, king-size bed room is a separate room category that costs extra per night as compared with a standard room.

CBR has 3 room categories that cost more per night as compared with standard rooms: king-size bed, water view, and preferred location.

So you don't have a room assigned yet, but if she booked you a king-size bed room, it is a guarantee and not simply a request.

Thanks so much! I really don't know if I paid extra for it, I just paid what she told me to. I guess I'll see when I get there. Thanks again!

 If your TA said you have a king room, then you paid for it for sure! There is no way for her to know ahead of time what they will assign you unless a king room was paid for because it is a room catagory at CBR.

By paying for it (whatever she told you to pay), it means you are paying a higher rate than a standard room. If you wanted a king room, then yeah! The king rooms are located throughout the resort.

CBR is a beautiful resort - hope you have a wonderful visit!

We were looking to change our ressie in Oct. from the POFQ to the CBR, my TA called and said the Martinique was booked, so my next choice is Jamaica or Aruba waterview, which bldg should I request for the shortest walk over to the main pool (keeping my fingers crossed it will be completed by Oct. 20th - I would hate to switch resorts then the pool be closed :scared:, esp. since we are going at a slower rate this time and really wanting to relax & swim).
