That would be so nice if they are family suites. Disney is lacking in options for rooms to accomodate 5 people.

I cannot find the pictures of the nemo rooms on Safety moms threads. Can someone please send me a direct link to the pictures??

Thanks

Hi All!

A question about the beds at CBR:

Are they high enough to put suitcases under? What is the general storage situation like in the rooms?

12 days until we're there! I can't wait to get there and get unpacked!

Here are some pictures from today. It's tough getting pictures through the blinds. :)

Safetymom, Have you had a chance to go over to the CBR and take more pictures? Would love to see the progress on the pool and more sneaky room photos!

Unless you get a room in Building 24 at Martinique, you will be able to store your suitcases under the bed. Building 24 has the new Nemo themed rooms with new bed frames that go to the ground, so no under the bed storage.

I was just at CBR last week and there is room for storing the suitcases other than under the bed. We had 4 suitcases. We did put 2 under the bed. There is a pretty good amount of room by the bed closest to the door to put a suitcase and you can stand up a couple of suitcases by the bed farthest from the door - there is space between the bed and the wall to the bathroom, but they have to stand up. I will admit that space in the room might be tight after the renovations because of the lack of storage under the beds. You could put a suitcase on the bench that is in the room. Hopefully there will be enough drawer space and then you could even store a suitcase in the dressing area under the shelf in there.

The new rooms you can't store anything underneath them.

If I get a chance I will try in the next couple of days for more pictures. When we went on Saturday they were working on the pool and painting Building 25. I didn't want to take pictures then.

safetymom - are you able to tell if they replaced or are going to replace the carpets in the rooms?? just curious..

Okay, thank you. Just was curious if they had done that too - weird if they haven't that they'd change the rest of the room but not the carpets. But oh well, they still look nice anyhow!!!

I am glad they are not doing all rooms as pirate rooms

I understand why they are doing it and it will be fab for kids but I love the old CBR

99 days from today I will be checking into the CBR, The preferred room category is sold out, I wonder how many of the new rooms will be done then.
We will be there 11/7-11/15....anyone else?
Hoping to do MVMCP on 11/11 or 11/12.

I will be there honeymooning from Nov 3, 2008 to Nov 9, 2008. Does anyone have any ideas on specials that WDW does for Honeymooning couples?

You can get the free Just Married pins at any Guest Relations desk. My husband and I are celebrating our 24 wedding anniversary during our stay. The castmember who made our reservations (and another who made our dining reservations) made a notation on our reservation. I don't know if we'll get any surprises but am not holding my breath.

Book a dinner reservation at one of Disney's Signature Dining locations!

Another idea (if its in the budget), book a Epcot fireworks cruise.

So, we have a trip November 22-30. I tried getting a preferred room and they were all booked :sad2: . Sooo we put in a request for a room in Jamaica, first floor. What are our chances of getting a room there?

I have never had any interest in staying here before......when this refurb is done, I will be visiting CBR. :)
