I can say this morning they were changing out the rooms in Jamaica 41. That's the building right next to where the parking lot has all of the containers in it. Permits on windows, workers all around and everything. Just saw it riding by on the bus so I couldn't snoop but wanted to update everyone!

Exciting!!!! Isn't that where the ready rooms usually are? I'll be checking in at about 10:30 I hope I can get a refurbished room.

How likely is it that my family will be put close to me when they check in if I check in the day before them? My husband's parents and his sister and her husband will be checking in on Sunday and us on Saturday. Do you think we'll be spread all over the resort? They both have king rooms and I have a double bed room.

Aruba 51 is 4-5 minute stroll across the bridge to OPR.

Just know that you have to walk through the smokers area as you head to OPR after crossing that bridge. Why it is in such a high traffic area, I have no idea; it is the only negative thing I've noticed at my first stay at CBR.

Make sure your reservations are linked and then request to be close. Your odds will be pretty good then.

We love Jamaica. Building 41 is the furthest from the bridge but still not bad.

I'm hoping that we get lucky enough to have a refurbished room for our Halloween trip. Five months should be enough time to get through quite a bit of the resort I would think

It'd be great if we could get a refurbished room in 12 days! I've requested Jamaica...but probably not possible.

We check into CBR in 5 days! This will only be my 3rd trip to WDW (I know, I've been deprived) in 42 years. First time ever staying on-site and looking forward to exploring CBR

See if you can find out any info on the refurb. From what it sounds like, it has started in Jamaica 41. Ask how long per building and are they queen beds with a Murphy bed or just queen beds? You are a Sherlock Homes right

I am getting anxious with anticipation for our Sept trip!!! Only ever stayed in value resorts, so am excited for a moderate.

We're hitting the road to Disney and Caribbean Beach tomorrow and will arrive on the 24th. I'll be sure to ask about the murphy beds/refurb and will try to get pictures too. We have a couple of resort days built into our two week trip so, hopefully, I can sneak a picture or two.

Summersun, I'll try to see if I see any of the soy items while we are there.

You can check in now 60 days ahead of time? What is the advantage to doing that?
