Thank you . Would you happen to know which village is the first stop?

It depends on which entrance the bus uses. If it comes in the side entrance Jamaica is first. If it comes in the main entrance Martinique is first.

Jamaica 45, Aruba 51 and Martinique 22 are the closest non-preferred locations.

From parking lot to parking lot around 6-7 minutes. Then you'll have to factor in possible catching a tram to the front gate depending on how full the lot is by then.

We had an early flight in 2009 and I believe we called the night before for Bell Services. They picked us and our luggage up in the morning. I don't think you can take luggage on the regular internal bus.

Another last minute question. I ordered our tix over the phone and linked them to our mb, but we still have to pickup tix at will call. Can I get the tix at the resort or do I have to go to a park will call window?

You'll have to go to Will Call at either a park or Downtown Disney.

Has anyone heard anything about if CBR will be getting rid of all its boats/water crafts? After POR had all its boats taken away, I heard that the company responsible also ran the boats at CBR and soon those would be gone too...but it doesn't seem as though anything has changed. Thoughts?

You heard correctly. The boat rentals at all the Moderates are now gone. They are only at the Deluxes now.

Congrats! FYI, we were nervous before our first CBR stay too. We were big fans of POR and POFQ at the time. After that first stay, CBR became our favorite moderate by far. Even with double beds! We've had a total of 34 nights at CBR now.

We have stayed at POR and POFQ . This time we are planning to try CBR. We like to be near the food court...don't care about the view. Hated CSR...too much walking..
Is it worth it to request a preferred room or is there too much foot traffic ?

Definitely not too much foot traffic anywhere at CBR. If you really have to be close to the food court then you should book preferred. It's very rare to be booked in a standard room and get put in a preferred room by requesting it. Some of the closest non-preferred locations are Jamaica 45, Aruba 51 and Martinique 22.

I'd love to hear from someone who is at the resort now and can report on whether or not the work has begun. I know that someone posted a few days back that they had set up an area for the construction equipment, etc. Just wondering if the work has actually started.

I'll be there at around 10am on Friday. We aren't doing a park that day so I plan on doing some snooping around LOL! I will let you all know what I find ASAP and take some pictures but I'm not sure how to post pics from my phone. I won't have my laptop with me.

That would be fantastic! I still can't bring myself to call the resort manager's private number and ask since she was so nice to even give out the information way before anything was ever mentioned. Plus, the number is not something that the general public usually gets. My husband says to call her anyway since I have to have the notation made that our two reservations are "continuing".
