Could someone direct me to the CBR picture thread? Thanks!
Great pictures, thank you that really helps.
Now, one more clearification question, are the items in the picture from the grab and go (milk, juice, fruit bowl and cupcakes) allowed as part of my CS meal (beverage and dessert)
You're welcome. We often go to the grab n go station to get our desserts and drinks after we have gotten our entrees. There are also refrigerated coolers near most of the stations that have the drinks in them.
Second guessing and going crazy! we have CBR booked and arrive in 20 days! but now im thinking CSR may be a better choice for us (just 2 adults..)
help??![]()
Thank you again. We will be on DDP on our trip and I am trying to figure out how to not have to drink fountain soda, iced tea and water all week. So the knowledge that I can grab a bottled juice or milk is great. It also helps, if I do want to just drink water to know I can grab a bottled juice which I can then save for breakfast.
I forgot to order milk so I will have to go to the grab and go and get that.
I just ordered from Garden Grocer. The refillable mugs were $14.95 each x4 for us.(way too much money) I was able to order water, soda, snacks, and some breakfast foods. We have the DP but it only covers 1 TS and one QS plus snack a day. Whatever we don't use I am taking with us on the Dream. I forgot to order milk so I will have to go to the grab and go and get that.
You can also get larger containers of milk at the gift shop in OPR. Sadly, at "Disney prices".![]()
We just booked CBR for our first visit here in January. I was wondering if anyone can tell me what the food is like at Shutters? I've looked the menus up online but wasnt sure if those were accurate anymore. Is the food good there? The menus didnt seem to have a lot of choices.
Whats the best building to get into in terms of walking distance to the main pool/buses/food courts?
We did not have a very good experience at CBR (there from 10/3 to 10/7 in Barbados 13). On our first night, we just dropped off our stuff and went to MK and Narcoissee's. We get back with leftovers, only to find that we don't have a refrigerator. They finally delivered one to the room on Tuesday. Unfortunately, that one didn't work -- which we learned on Wednesday when we went to put more leftovers in the fridge and discovered a delightful smell instead. What was worse, is that we returned from the park on Tuesday only to find that our room had not been cleaned. Bus service was slow in general. Wednesday also featured major transportation problems. We ate at CA Grill and had to take the bus to DTD to get back to the resort. We waited 40 minutes and still no bus. So I went up to one of the buses for another resort and asked where our bus was. They had to send a special bus to pick us up.
There were some positives. The pool and beaches were great. I particularly liked the kids only wading pool with the kiddie waterslides. The CM were generally very nice as well.
I just wanted to thank everyone for all of the great info in this thread. I've been lurking for a few months waiting to find out if our tentative trip will actually happen. I booked our flights this week for January 28th to Feb 4th, and we will be staying at CBR! I am requesting Jamaica, first floor, corner room.
It will be myself, dh, and our dd who will be 2 when we go. (her 2nd birthday is in a few weeks). This will be DDs first trip, dhs 5th trip, and my 11th or 12th...not sure.
I've only stayed at ASMu, ASMo, and POR, so I'm happy to be able to try a new resort.
I'm so excited to stay at CBR, and have been loving this thread! Thanks again!![]()
If you're using the DDP you'll find each member of your party will receive a refillable free - We just came back from CBR 3 weeks ago.I just ordered from Garden Grocer.
