Three weeks from today I will be waking up at CBR ready to head to Epcot! Yay!!!!!!!!! I am so excited!!! :woohoo:The last month has been very stressful, so I can't wait for some relaxation and fun at CBR and WDW! Ok just had to say that.
I made sure my ressie was linked with our friends and requested Jamaica 45. Should I have her request it too, since they will be arrivng ahead of us?

Where are the bus stops for CBR located at the parks? Are they way down near Pop or closer? TIA

As I recall, the ones at MK are way down by Pop.

Yeah, for some reason, at just about all parks (even the water parks) CBR's bus stops are all about the furthest away from the entrance - usually next to Pop's. CBR's should certainly be closer that than the All Stars' buses, but they're not.

We just got back, at DHS it was stop 10, at Epcot it was stop 10, MK it was stop 16, at DTD it was stop 6 and finally at AK was stop 16 (my DH gave me AK and DHS, so if they're wrong, its his fault, I couldn't remember.). Hope that helps.

I just booked our stay at the CBR today. :cloud9: I went for the pirate rooms just because it's my first trip to Disney and I wanted it to be extra fun and special. I can't believe nor do I think it's possible that I have to wait a year! But with that free dining I couldn't pass it up, and that time period worked best for us. It will be on our one year anniversary too since we are getting married on the 24th of this month, so how romantic! We'll be staying at CBR for 5 nights, I seriously can't wait!!!

Oh Congrats!!!! You will love it there!!!!! CBR is so tropical, we call it our vacation inside of a vacation!!!

Does the CBR rooms have coffee makers?

Yes. This creates a small 'dilema'. Do you opt for the convenience of making coffee yourself, or do you go to OPR to refill your mug?

I paid for the mug dammit...so I opted to go to OPR. :confused3

Ok, for the record, we have pretty much stayed in value resorts except for our honeymoon in 1994 (POFQ). Loved POP and it quickly became our 2nd home...but....we stayed at CBR last December and have booked 11/28-12/4 to stay there again at our DD4 request. We just went up Labor Day weekend and stayed at POP since it was a real quick, last minute trip, but now it didnt feel like home. Boy did I miss CBR!!!! We have a new 2nd home and I can't wait to get there. The size of the rooms, the closeness to parking, the ceiling fans, the refrigerator, the shopping....I missed it all. The next 77 days cannot go by fast enough. CBR now has us spoiled!:earboy2:

For all the reasons you just listed, we can not make ourselves stay at a value. I just keep thinking about everything we love about the CBR.

We stayed at the CBR this past May. We had a room and my mother had a room. The Disney Travel castmember linked my mother's reservation with our reservation. She made a notation on both of our reservations. We arrived and had rooms righ tnext to each other.

I know even if the coffee stinks...I still paid for the dumb mug to drink stinky coffee.

Is there boat access to enter EPCOT that would land us in WS? I am reviewing a book (Fodor's WDW w/ Kids 2011 ed.) and it shows me a basic map w CBR being close to the lake (?) in WS. So just curious, because I had early asked a question about being dropped off by WDW bus at the WS entrance instead of the FW entrance. I was told by all y'all that the bus never drops us off at the WS entrance, which is not what this silly book says. So now I wonder if the map is any good. I appreciate any comments or info! TIA!
