Caribbean beach and counter service dining plan in August

Hi everyone, I am slightly worriedly with all the reburshment work going on that it may not be worth eating in the evening at the hotel due to temporary food kiosks in situ?. Will it be better value to eat at the parks during the day instead?
Hopefully someone may put my mind at rest who has been recently

The Breakfast and Dinner Buffets are QS credits- the only ones in WDW,so I think they are a very good deal.

Although it is only a QS credit...I would rather eat in the park or Disney Springs which is pretty close to CBR. We stayed at CBR last Sept and ate at the food truck once (it was the end of Irma and there wasn't a lot to choose from and DS & the parks were still closed) Otherwise the buffet and food trucks didn't really appeal to us
