CARES Harness Rental

I had planned to buy a CARES harness on Amazon for our November trip. I remembered today to take a look and MAN! Those are pricey!

Recommendations on the best places to rent from for both price and reliability? I'm going to check out consignment shops but I don't live in a big area so snagging such a specialty item will be difficult. Plus, we're leaving right after Thanksgiving so I want to reserve now.

I rented from someone on eBay. She was from NJ and great to work with. I had it three days before we left and I think I paid $16 plus $6 to mail it back.

I also rented from someone on Ebay. Great service and considering I only needed it once, saved a lot of money vs. purchasing. The unit was in great condition and very simple instructions for the transaction. Multiple people rent these on Ebay, just make sure you read the reviews prior to conducting the transaction.

No they are not approved for car travel. And I rented from eBay

They are made to only be used on planes. They turn the airplane seatbelt into a 5 point harness and are very easy to use.
