Just one thing to warn you guys while your WAITING... is the WAIT part. lol.

I applied for Fall '08 in early May. That was to late. Waited till August 29 when they posted applications for the Spring. Called to set up my interview a week after sending my application. There was a mix up on their part. Had my interview finally on September 22nd. 2-3 weeks went by when I should have herd from them. Finally got my letter after 9 weeks and 5 days after my interview on November 29th. Now I'm waiting for February 11th to check in! Total wait time, basically 9 months. I could have done had a baby.

Okay, I'm confused! My DD is wanting to do Fall 2009 Career Start, but the website says that they recruit for Fall between Sept. & Nov., so we're thinking it's too late to apply, but I'm reading on here that it's not until Jan-Feb. Is that right? She'll be so excited if it's not too late!

The website is a little confused. They recruit for the Spring program between Sept and Nov. They will be recruiting for the Fall 09 program around Feb.

Now she has a decision to make ~ she's planning on attending college in Orlando and can start in either Oct. or Jan.

About when in January does the CareerStart end? Her school will start around the 5th or 6th. Will Disney work around her school schedule for a few weeks until the program ends?

I'm a little confused, as the website states that the Career Start Program is for 7 months, however I am getting the impression that that is not the case. How long is the program? If my daughter graduates in June of '10 and begins the next session ... when would she finish?

The Fall program starts in Aug, and ends in Jan. So it's just over 5 months.

My name is Ben, I was born in PA, moved to NC in 94, and I am also going to play the waiting game this spring for the WDWCP Fall Advantage 2009...

PS: When will the presentation schedule be put up, same as when we can apply??? late jan to early feb??

The presentation schedule should go up the same time as the application (late Jan to early Feb). However, presentations probably will start in Feb.

I was going to apply in November when they came to UNCG, but I decided to do it from summer to January...SO I COULD BE IN DISNEY DURING NEW YEARS!!! lol ...but mainly I think this experience is just what I need to decide between film or business, and maybe after it I can do a professional internship in in the future, plus I love disney... don't we all
