Alright.. I know the basics to bring. Sheets, towels, clothes, television, alarm clock, cellphone, documents .. etc.

But I also contemplated bringing the following things.. is this all a stupid idea? I live in Jacksonville (2 hours north, so I'll go home at least 1-2x a month to see the family and friends -- and can take it back if necessary).

Television (27 inch)
Laptops (my new dell xps and macbook pro)
Around 50 DVD's out of my large collections.. just favorites (mostly Disney ones, though)
Sony Surround Sound
PS2 (with games, etc)
Nintendo Wii (with games etc)
Ipod Video
Backup MP3 Player when my Ipod is being dumb
Printer/Copier/Fax Machine
PSP & Nintendo DS Lite (with games and stuff)
Digital Camera (with backup memory cards)
DVD Camcorder
Misc. Kitchen items (I use to have an apartment and have LOADS of stuff)
Coffee/Expresso Starbucks Machine (very small, don't worry - little kitchen space)
Vaccum (yay for the Dyson!)
ALL OF MY CHARGERS, CORDS, ETC FOR EVERYTHING, LOL.
My annual passes everywhere. Though I doubt I'll get bored of disney.
Lots and lots of pictures of friends & family.

Anything else.. or should I leave some of that at home? I'm just trying to make sure I have loads of stuff to occupy myself.. Plus I have a bazillion friends who live in Orlando.. so if anything, I can leave some stuff with them if needed.

Anything I should hold out on, or add to the list?

Sounds good though I would be careful to bring all your high tech toys. Since you live rather close, perhaps you should think about splitting some of it up? And don't forget locks for your laptops!!!! lol

That's what I was scared of. I'm sure my TV won't be ran off with.. and the ipod(s), ds, digital camera tc can be locked away. Just the DVD's and whatnot scare me.. The laptops will be stored in my car at all times, when not in use at the apartment.

Know how big those lockers are? LOL.

Get locks for you laptops. Don't store them in the car. Not only can they be easily stolen if you forget to hide them, but the heat can damage them.
