Care to Join Me? - UPDATE!! WE'RE HERE! LIVE FROM THE WORLD!!!!

Great reports sounds like a great holiday, thanks for sharing :goodvibes

Hi all! Late one today!

DC was amazing yesterday, totally relaxing and chilled out. We're very prepared for the week ahead now!

We went to Seaworld today, did the Dolphin tour, but we've had to cut it short as one of our friends has a touch of heatstroke and is now sleeping to recover with plenty of drink available!

Kraken was great as always!

I'm off for a swim, will check in later if I get chance to.

Barry

Glad you enjoyed DC ~ We had a fab time there as well.

Hope you Friend feels better soon ~ Heat stroke is the pits :)

Ok, longer post.....

Knowing our friend, she'll probably sleep into the night and wake up at 4am, wondering why everyone else is still asleep!

Pool's not warm enough at the mo - the cleaner knocked the heat controls down to cool from hothothot so we've turned it back up - the others are in there but i don't do cold water unless there's good reason!

We saw the new baby killer whale at SW, and because it is coming along so well they were able to show about 15 minutes of Believe (for those that don't know, Believe has been suspended while mother & baby use the stadium tank) - fantastic show, and naturally I have several pictures :teeth:

i would highly recommend the Dolphin Nursery Close-Up Tour - we started with a 25 minute chat from one of the on-site educators about the breeding, birth and growing trends of the dolphins, and then moved on to meeting the newest calves (cheeky lot) and then feeding the adults, along with the opportunity to take part in training - using hand commands to ask them to do something specific - great! For anyone thinking of doing it, I must stress that the level of interaction varies from tour to tour as it is dependant on what the trainer's schedules are, and also largely the mood of the dolphins themselves.

My mum panicked this morning because she didn't receive an ICQ message from me - i did send it, but it didn't get thru... so i had a text asking if all was ok etc etc... i phoned her from the queue line of Kraken, complete with screaming riders in the background hehehehehe

Temperature was cooler today although the sun was still blazing - high 70's / low 80's.

We're not sure yet what we're up to tomorrow, all depends on our friend and how she feels - if she's feeling better we'll wander over to Epcot as she likes shopping and there's not many rides there so nothing much to make her ..... regurgitate dinner.

Goodnight all - I'm going to put dinner on, for the first time since we've been here i've actually got time to make a proper dinner - we've been eating at Denny's for lunch since i introduced the rest of my group to the restaurant chain.... still yet to try the Perkins at the end of our Blvd, may do for brekkie tomorrow!

Later y'all,

Barry

:goodvibes:

hope you all have a great dinner and that your friend is feeling better

Thanks again for the live report :thumbsup2

We've been out shopping today - our friend is feeling much better. Between the four of us, we've bought about 20 dvds!!!!!

We started in Celebration, then on to international drive, mall at millenia, then the LBV Factory Stores, and finally picked up some goodies while topping up our groceries in the Walmart on the 192 (the one by Bass Rd).

We found the pool heat controls yesterday - our management co. advised us which buttons to push as we were having some problems so while we were at it we upped the temperature from warm to toasty - just the right temperature (for a bath) this evening. :teeth:

Tomorrow we're having a lazy morning then off to EPCOT for the afternoon and evening to make sure we catch Illuminations. I've taken close to 300 pictures so far according to the camera, so expect a nice big TR on my return!

It sounds like you had a good day shopping. Have a great time at Epcot (I can't wait to be back there). I am looking forward to hearing more about your trip and seeing some piccies.

Carry on enjoying yourself :)
