Well, we're here in Orlando - landed at 4pm US time, picked up our hire car (a green Chrysler Pacifica - thanks Johnny!)

Glad to help - have a great time!

Plane took off 15 minutes late - not TCD's fault - US Security were late sending the all clear to the captain so we had to wait a few mins for the yanks to 'allow' us to clear - for those that don't know the procedure, the captain faxes the passenger manifest to the Dept of Homeland Security, who check the names and passports, and then come back with an all clear / send in the heavies and we're on our way!

Thought the European Union had ruled this practise as illegal and the airlines had no right to do this until 1 hr after the flight had taken off which it was before they sent the details pre flight.

Great to hear you arrived safely and are having a fantastic time - enjoy the rest of your trip :sunny:

Good to hear you've arrived safely. Have a :smickey: Magical vacation!

It did, but is still permitted when the security risk on international flights is high, like it is now...

Just a quick one this morning we have an ADR in an hour at Donald's Breakfastosaurus!

Magic Kingdom was great, hot hot hot all day without a cloud in the sky! Queue times..... everything was posted as 5 - 10 minutes except SM which was 20 minutes (actually waited just 5) and Peter Pan's Flight which had times all day varying from 30 - 60 minutes..... go figure!

Later all - off to say hello to Mr Duck!

:goodvibes:

Thanks for posting live :thumbsup2

Please keep it up if you have time
enjoy the rest of your holiday

Cheers for clearing that up and music to my ears with the update, roll on Saturday

Morning all!

Today's quick update!

AK was great yesterday, a little busier than MK on monday, but still 10-15 minute wait for most rides, including Everest. Posted queue times were higher than the actual time which is always good! Everest was of course the first ride to hit, then we rode the rapids, stayed on the boat for a second time round!

We had dinner in the Rainforest Cafe - took a picture of their choccy cake which I'll include in my photo post when we return - it's blinkin' huge - more like a skyscraper than a cake!

Went into Downtown Disney last night, had a blast in DisneyQuest - tons of fun as an adult group! Generally just chilled, soaked up the atmosphere, people watched, and shopped of course!

Today we're going to Universal Studios (we do ALL the theme parks out here), and then maybe into Old Town this evening if we're not too tired.

Weather is still hot, although we did have a shower yesterday afternoon which lasted all of - and no exaggeration here - 30 seconds, nice and refreshing.

Best be off - breakfast to make and big kids to wake!

Thanks for the update , glad to hear you are having a great time :thumbsup2

Old Town might be a bit quiet midweek perhaps?
