Care package question & idea

I need some opinions please! I have 3 care packages filled and ready to get closed up. I had bought a bunch of single-serving bags of potato chips. Now I'm rethinking this. What is your opinion? I'm afraid they will get crushed so it wouldn't be worth it to send them.

Actually I can just put off sending them in the first package (all 3 are going to the same person) and just wait to see what everybody thinks before closing up the other boxes.

I bought 3 newspapers today, hoping to send some encouraging articles about yesterday's liberation of Baghdad. Of course each article had alot of negative commentary. Journalists! (yes I know they're not all like that) I ended up cutting out all the good pitures I could find and left it at that.

It shows snapshots of rallies for America from 15 different locations in the USA, with over 100,000 in attendance. I just printed out that page, it shows one picture for each place represented, along with the estimated numbers in attendance.

I don't think the chips will be crushed too much if you are careful in the packaging so that they can't shift around in the box too much. I've been surprised at the things people have been sending that has made it fine over there. The only real problems I've heard of is when people send detergents or soaps in the same box as food (brownies and cookies). For some reason the food has been taking on the flavor of the detergents and soaps. Yuck!

Thanks Keli! Thanks to the great suggestions of folks here, I have already sent off a box full of non-food items. These other boxes will contain ONLY food.

How are you doing, anyway? I noticed you haven't been around the past few days. Any new news on Titus? BTW you can tell Ashli that her boyfriend is a cutie!
