CARE: Hurricane causing problems with tickets

I just signed for the envleope supposedly containing my 5 park flex tickets from http://www.themepark-tickets.com only to find a piece of paper that I need to exchange for my tickets when we get to the first park!

I have just fired off a complaint to themepark tickets as their site clearly states that they send "real tickets, not vouchers."

I just wanted to warn any of you thinking of using the site (as they were the cheapest when I booked) that you will not get tickets.

Amazes me why they wait until 5 days out to post them when it's not even tickets!!!

Thanks for the heads up Rosiejo, such a disappointment no doubt for you and many others. I'm sure you could take it further if they said real tickets not vouchers in their ad!
 
I'll see how they respond to my email - then I will take it futher... not sure how... watchdog?? trading standards?? They're saying they are seeling something that they are not and that's just plain wrong!
 

Oh No!! I'm waiting on delivery which should be in the next couple of weeks from them!!!!!

When i researched the Co on this site everyone was very happy with the service and all said they had received real tickets!!! I'll just have to wait and see what we receive - we ordered 7 day premium passes and Sea World/Busch combo tickets.
 
Yes, Rosiejo, trading standards is the way to go if you don't get a suitable response from the company,
Julie L - I'd chase them up in the meantime and get them to guarantee you tickets not vouchers

The letter came from a company called seligo - I looked at their site and they appear to be an agent - I'm wondering if themepark use them and they might not be aware they're suddenly sending vouchers... well it isn't even a voucher it's a letter!

I'll post back as soon as I get a response.
 
As a TA I use Seligo loads, have never been issued vouchers, always tickets, maybe themepark tix ran out so bought some in?
 
Just had my response - it appears that a whole order of tickets have been held up due to Wilma so "themeparks" went to Seligo for the tickets. I assume they must also be having issues hence the vouchers - Julie it might have sorted itself out by the time your trip comes around.

I think I'll call them tomorrow to find out if i'll be getting tickets - i was told that the dispatch date for my tickets would be 30/10! We're not going till the 30th November, although i told them 13th to make sure i wasn't sweating on receiving the tickets, so i would rather wait for real tickets if possible.
