We are headed to FW campground in Dec. We are on the dining package so our "room" keys are our tickets and our dining cards.

There will be days when dad, who is staying at another resort, will head over to FW to walk the dog in the motor home while we park hop, etc.

Will I be able to get an extra card so he can drive in? I know that our "room" key will allow us to open the gate, but we will all need our keys and won't be able to give him one.

Thanks.

They have redone things at FW ... again.

You won't need the 'room key' even if you are coming back to your camper. You still have to get past the guard shack.

If you have a window pass (or whatever its called), you can just drive in. The gate by the bus stop has been removed, as has the entrance thru the overflow parking lot.

There is a card reader gate by the guard shack, but not sure what it is for, unless the guard is not there 24/7.

Just give your dad your window pass, and he can drive right in.

Hope this makes sense ... I still don't get what they are trying to do.

When we were there in August, we had no problems getting "visitors." We just had our guests tell security they were visiting us at site x and the were let in. You can also get an extra visitor parking pass for the window (or so we were told at check in-but never needed to get one).
