Hey all! Just wondering what you all have used/plan on using for a card box/holder at your Disney wedding? We are having 40 guests maximum and I can't imagine getting too many cards (especially because we are having an at-home reception as well). Any suggestions?? Thanks!!! :goodvibes

This is kinda big, but I loved it and can't wait to put it out!

In fact, many couples choose to have a wedding as well as a honeymoon here. Disney's wedding specialists can help organize a wedding or vow renewal using the park's unique facilities.:cool2:

You're a genius.

Buy some ad space. Oh, wait- you'd never be approved as a sponsor for a Disney-affiliated website.

Whoa - That carriage is supercute - I'm coming from California and most of my guests are coming from the west coast, too.

Any ideas for a gift card holder that's not as bulky or can be folded down or thrown away? I'm trying to limit the amount of things I have to put into my "ship back to cali" box.

One thing I've thought about doing is getting just a plain square box (or a card box from Oriental Trading which are about $5 and re-enforcing it) and just wrapping it in pretty paper, or something similar. It would be cheap, and you could store things in it on the way to FL, and ship stuff back home, too. Plus, you can always dump it when the wedding is over.

They sell some card boxes that aren't as bulky at Michaels, Joanns, etc. But I agree with DisneyShamrock - you should just buy either a pretty photo box or even a shoe box and cover it with pretty paper. Its easy enough to do (just like wrapping a present!) and then you can throw it away afterwards. I'm still trying to figure out what to do with my big carriage now that my wedding is over!!! LOL

Where is that card box from??? I love it!

I got it from Amazon (which was the cheapest) although I saw it online at a bunch of sites. Although when I just checked the amazon link for you, it says it currently isn't available. I've seen some on ebay recently too.

You should sell it, if you don't want to keep it. Or rent it out and make your money back. Free rental for me, should I decide I want to borrow it, since it was my idea. And since we're tagged in some GMR photos together. ;)

Hey! Wait! Did I miss something?? GMR pics...hmmm, who is this?

Thanks for all of those suggestions! I LOVE the carriage, but I also need something on the smaller side. :flower3:

After doing a litte bit of research, I came up with the idea of using a vintage Disney lunchbox as a card box. They have some really cute ones for sale on ebay. I think it will be the perfect size--not too big/bulky to get to FL. :goodvibes
