Car window decals

We got a decal awhile ago for the car, but have no directions on how to put it on. I tried just rubbing it the other night, but that didn't work. Its just 1 of those white pawprint decals that we got at a local doggie event. Keep forgetting about it I want to stop forgetting and have it on my window.

In my experience there should be an almost invisible seam somewhere near the middle of the decal. Try to bend it gently there. Then you should see it start to separate and can peal off that layer.

It could be on the back or the front of the decal, as they are made for both inside and outside the window. Be sure to have a clean spot ready for it.

It depends on the decal, it can be as a PP suggested or it can be like the ones I just put on my minivan. They were 3 layered, the bottom layer peeled off and left 2 layers, those layers were the decal and clear tape. After you removed the bottom layer you pressed the decal and tape on the window, then you rubbed the decal on and then you removed the final layer of clear tape, this left the decal behind.
