car service pay in advance with credit card or euros day of

we have a car service for pick up at the airport in Barcelona to the hotel and then hotel to the port of our Med cruise

my question is we can either pay in advance with a credit card--the company send me the form already
we need to fill it out and email it back to them ( Im really not that comfortable emailing it back with credit card info)

or we can pay cash in euros at time of service--the bill will be about 150 euros for both transfers I would have to get some euros before we leave

Im not sure what the best way to do this--

any advice would be greatly appreciated

For security reasons paying the day of is better. I would feel unsafe emailing that info too.

Check to see if they accept PayPal. I've found a lot of the tour companies do that.

Our tour company has a secure site on which we can pay with a credit card in advance. I agree that sending a card number via e-mail is a bad idea, but we also didn't want to carry a large amount of cash.

If the choices are e-mail or cash, I would go with cash, ordered from a bank in advance (in case ATMs are unavailable or don't accept my card).

thanks for all the great advice--I will go with getting euros before we leave

our credit union will order foreign money--it takes a few days--when we went to London we didnt think of pounds but one of our AAA office does exchange but it seemed rather high exchange

I think now were finally set to go--thanks again

How many car services have you arranged? Do you use your credit cards for anything else?
