We have a Limo taking us from the Airport to AKL, then to Port back and forth. Has anyone used a car seat in a Limo or do you just let them ride like when you are on Disney Buses? I have travel back pack car seats that I use for traveling when we rent a car, but not sure they will work in a Limo. Any suggestions?

Hi there,

We just used our infant carrier in the stretch limo we rented. Okay, now to explain this so it makes some sense :).

On this stretch, only one set of doors open and they are at the rear of the limo, near the trunk. Not sure if they are all this way. After everyone piled in there is a regular back seat with seatbelt. We strapped it in as we do in our own back seat.

Hope that helps.

I would really like to know of more peoples experience - DS will be 3 and I am undecided about bringing our carseat.

The seating in our limo was like a big L, with the bottom part of the L running parallel to the front seat, but all the way at the back; the leg of the L was all the way along the left side as you stand in back and face the front. I have been in several other stretch limos that were this way too. The seat along the bottom of the L had at least one shoulder belt, because that's where my 5 y.o. sat in his booster. I am pretty sure the rest of us had regular lap belts. We took Southern Elegance; I'm sure you can e-mail whatever company you are using and ask.

Earlier this year we used Golden Limo to take us from the BW to the GF for a special event.

We put our 14month old neice into her car seat, but had our nephew who was four at the time ride with just a seatbelt.
