Car Seats for shuttles

We are going to be booking a cruise early 2016. We have 3 kids, (twins 3, and baby 1) We will be flying into Miami most likely and then will need a hotel shuttle from the airport, then a shuttle to the port from the hotel. Just wondering how others have done this?

Do you rent car seats and have the cruise line hold them until the end of the trip? Do you send them back to the hotel and hope they hold them until you return? I'm so new at this!!

If the shuttle is a bus, car seats are not necessary, AFAIK. If you have car seats, you must store them yourself (in your room). You could ask the hotel if they would hold them (are you staying at the hotel after the cruise as well?)

We would most likely be flying back the day of return. So we would take the hotel shuttle to the airport. I guess when it gets closer to cruise date we will have to call whichever hotel we are staying at to figure out if they would hold them or not. I could see them not having a problem holding 1 but holding 3 might be overkill!

We rode the DCL shuttle from our Miami hotel to the port and had a 2 year-old and 3 year-old in our group. Neither needed a car seat.
