Car Rentals onsite at Disney?

We are flying into Tampa to spend Thanksgiving with family. Sunday we will be going to WDW for a week then flying out of Orlando. We are thinking about getting a rental car that we can pick up in Tampa and drop off in Orlando when we get to WDW. Does WDW have any car rentals on the property where we could make this drop off ?

Yes, ther is a rental area at the Car Care Center and also at the Dolphin. Both used to be National the last time we rented (2002) but they may be Alamo now. I'm sure someone else can clarify.

There is also a Budget car rental desk at the Doubletree Hotel which is just a few blocks away from DTD and Pleasure Island.

Avis has a desk @ the Hilton in Disney.

If you are driving from Tampa and dropping off at Disney or MCO, you'll likely have to pay an added drop off charge. In our rental agrrement (we're flying into Tampa, rent a car, driving to Disney, and dropping off the car) it's 10.4%. That's with Avis, but it's still my best rate because of my corporate agreement. For a one day rental that's not a big charge $4-$6. If you held the car for a week, it could add up.

PLeanty of options. Virtually EVERY major car rental company hasa dropp off in or near Disney. Pick the one you like best.

You can drop off at the following Hertz location, and they'll drive you to your WDW hotel.
