Car Rentals at Port

I'm now thinking of going into Florida a few days early, stay at Vero and drive to the port, I will try to fly to Melbourne, does anyone know if there is a car rental return at or near the port, or is it better to just return the car back at Melbourne and get a transfer to the port, I will probably then take DCL transfer home because we want to fly non-stop home. Thanks

Dave's website has some good information on car rentals here. Most of the information deals with traveling from MCO, but he lists the companies who have offices near the port, and has links to their websites. From there, you should be able to determine which agencies have service at Melbourne.

As to the DCL transfers, I think that they only offer them to and from Orlando airport, and not Melbourne. I may be wrong about this, but I do not remember hearing about transfers being available to and from the Melbourne airport.
