Does anyone know which car rental agencies are on-site at MCO? For the life of my I can not remember! I will keep searching, but figured I'd get a quick answer here!!

Avis
Budget
Dollar
Alamo
National
L & M

off site with shuttle:
Hertz
Thrifty

Things change occasionally so if anyone else knows an updated version of this, feel free to correct me. :goodvibes

I love to use Alamo at MCO. :lovestruc When you reserve your vehilce online you don't have to give credit card info so if a better rate comes along you can just book a new ressie and cancel the old one. Rates usually do drop several times from the time I first book til we go.

You can use the kiosk for check in which is awesome. Lately I've found I get the same price with the websites deals (and Walmart code for free driver) as I do if I use an Entertainment coupon and without a paper coupon you can use the kiosk which saves time.

But the best part is it's just a quick walk out the doors to the parking structure where the cars are. You have your choice of any vehicle that meets the class you book. We make sure we get a nice one, lower miles, no smell, etc.

Many times we arrive late (10 p.m. +) since we come from Calif. and last year when we got there there were only 3 minivans to choose from and I didn't like any of them. 1 was really dirty and 2 smelled. I asked the attendant if they could send one up to be washed and he said they were washing compacts right then. I explained the situation and he immeadiately upgraded us to the next category and we got a Toyota 8 passenger van ( Sienna ) for no extra cost. It was very nice to drive.

Thanks, I have always used Avis - and WOW, have they gotten expensive!!! I can't get over the pricing. Now I know it is only a few weeks away from our trip but still! I haven't rented a car in a while, have been using Magical Express, but we are heading to Vero and need a car! Will look into Budget and the others onsite!

ClarabelleCow - If you want to get a really good rate and are staying on Disney property and you do have access to Magical Express to at least get you to your resort..I found it cheaper to book at some of the rental places off site and got better rates.

I just booked Dollar rent a car out of the Regal Sun Resort right by Saratoga on Hotel plaza Blvd, and got a rate of $49 per day for a mini van using my Bj's corporate code - 'BJ3013'...feel free to use it. It was $35 cheaper than anywhere else I looked..and I was searching orignially on a mid size car. Again not sure where you are staying..but thought this was worth a shot. Good luck.

Easy Rent a Car and Thrifty are now also onsite at OIA (MCO).

Really? No more shuttle to Thrifty?
I'm finding a good rate with them for our Aug trip but can't stand dealing with shuttles with kids/luggage. This is good news. :thumbsup2:cool1:

I did a search within the board and realized that people were getting some $200-300 for a 7-day mini van rental from National. However, I am not one of the lucky guys.

I checked and entered contract ID and coupon codes, and it returns $870 for a 8 day rental in first week of August. I kept searching and the best possible rate I could get is a $790 from Budget.

Which company would you prefer? I like National better because I can skip the line and pick my own vehicle :P
