Are there any car rental companies that give discounts for AAA members?

Hertz. We love our AAA discount and Hertz is a great company to rent from.

We are flying into MCO and using DME in Feb 06. We plan on doing WDW parks for 4 days but want to spend 2 days at Universal. I found it cheaper to rent a car for the 2 Universal days 36.89 per day for a compact (there are only 4 of us). I went through the AAA website.

Check the AAA website and directly with the Hertz website. Sometimes you get better pricing reserving directly on the Hertz site. There is a box to put in your AAA club code.

Yes, we are renting thanks to all the great advice we got on this thread. There is a Hertz location on Disney. I called them directly first to see if there was a better offer and to get transportation info. We told me that a van will pick us up at our hotel (Contemporary). He also said he could not beat the AAA internet rate.

He also offered info on their pricing when I told him how long I needed the car. Based upon my info to him he said returning the car an hour prior to my original schedule would save us a days rental. (I was thinking 9 am on Monday through 10 pm on Tuesday.) It is based on the 24 hour clock.

I may still check into other rental agencies that are on Disney property to see if there is a better deal.
