Car Rental?

Is there a car rental within Disney property? Or do we have to go to the airport?

There is at the Car Care Center. Over on the transportation board you will find some information on it. I've read that they will pick you up to go get your car. I haven't used it yet but will be in June. I think it's for National and I can't think of the other company. But if you go on National's website, search Orlando you'll see the Disney Car Care Center under the list of options. Good Luck!!

Yes, National and Alamo are also at the CCC and the Dolphin.Hertz is at the Shades of Green, some others are at the hotels at Downtown Disney.

You'll find that you actually get a better deal if you use a rental location other than the airport. We've starting using Disney's Magical Express to get to/from the resort from the airport, even on trips when we're going to get a rental car. We've used Hertz at SOG on the past few trips.

I reserved through thrifty at the airport and am paying $184 for 7 days in May. Just me so I got the smallest car. Through Hertz at SOG it will be $334 dollars for a similar car the same days.

I've had two very positive experiences at the Care Care Center with National. They picked me up at the resort and then dropped me off again after I returned the car.

Avis is at Hilton/Hyatt kitty corner from DTD.
I always forget which it is but we bus to DTD then cross the street to the car.

You know, everyone says this, but I have never, ever gotten a quote from the CCC or the Dolphin that was better than MCO, even with checking them religiously every trip.
