Car Rental-Which is best?

Hi! So, I have zero experience in renting a car. Do some of the car rental companies have desks at MCO or do you have to shuttle out to all of them? Which is the best value (ie-for the price, most conveinent, decent customer service)? From my reviews here on the boards it looks like Alamo and National are both good picks?

the majority of companies have desks inside of the airport and you just walk out to the garage to get your car.

Have you been to Mousesavers? They have a lot of information and a lot of codes for the companies

We always use Dollar. Cheapest, the cars are always new and clean, and when you walk out of baggage claim and across the street, they are right there.

I book mostly by price, but I stick to the big companies. I will book with National or Alamo if they're a little bit more because I enjoy selecting my car from a variety of vehicles instead of it being assigned to me.

The first time we went to Dollar they had keys there. I told the woman that at PBI they let us pick a car. She said "go pick anything from row XX" and we had our choice.

I already booked our car for 8 days in August. $140!! Worth every cent not to have to ride the Disney buses all week

What kind of car did you get? The cheapest I could find for a minivan was $300 from Budget. Everyone else was more expensive. We are going 8/21-8/28
