Has anyone used carrentalsavers.com before?? This will be my first time.... and I got a GREAT GREAT car rental deal ($126 for a compact car for a week! from Alamo)... has anyone used them before??

Alamo is currently offering rates similar to this as long as you qualify for a weekly rate and keep the car over a Saturday. I got that kind of rate with the COSTCO code and others have reported that kind of rate with the VISA promotion.

Yes used them in December- all was fine and with your confirmation number you can go on Alamo's site and check that your reservation is all there, etc. Our rate was using the Orlando Magicard which we did have printed out-it also included free additional driver but I think on another thread they said that option is now gone with the Magicard.

I have used that site several times and it has never been a problem. It has always been the best price for us also.

Wow, am I glad that I found this thread! I just looked on there and got a convertible for 8 days for $162 from National. That is the best price I have seen so far for January 2011. We booked it and are going to see if it goes down, but it sure beats closer to $300 for the same time at the same place.

This is a relief to hear. I just got a great rate for an 8 passenger van from them and then worried it was too good to be true! Thanks once again for the wonderful info!
