Car Rental @ Sanford

Hi

Does anybody know which car rental companies are on site @ Sanford please? We are flying into Sanford this time and as car hire seems to have rocketed this year I want to look around. We normally book Alamo @ Orlando but I have absolutely no idea which ones are onsite @ Sanford.

Help would be much appreciate. Thanx

Ive only ever use dollar, but I think that Hertz and Alamo are there as well. Someone else maybe able to confirm.

If you post your dates, best price you can find and size of car you want I don't mind looking around and trying to find better.

Fab thank you. We don't go until 24/04/11 but we want to buy each other bits for Chrimbo instead of wasting money on rubbish tat. Every penny for the WDW fund is so much more fun

We used www.carhire3000.com in August and it was really good value alot better than booking direct with dollar.

They are just a broker site for all of the rental companies and it lists all the car rentals at Sanford airport, and they worked out about £80 cheaper than booking direct for the same car, and also if the price drops at any point before you leave, they will refund you the difference, which is good.

and BTW if you have alot of luggage I don't recomend Alamo as it is quite a trek away from the airport. only 10 min or so but with cases etc it's a pain where as Dollar is just outside the terminal exit

we used dollar, quick tip its a walk across the road from the baggage hall i suggest one waits for the bags and the other goes and sorts the car you will beat the queues

Joking a side they really do when you are stuck in bham for 8 hours then Newark for 10 1/2!

You might actually still get there before us yet!
