I am a newbie with all this and hoping someone is patient with me and is willing to help me.

We arrive May 10 at 10:40 pm and will rent a car that night (we are staying at airport) so the next day we can go first thing to Walmart and then to Carribean Beach where we will spend 8 days.

First question. where can we return the car at disney and how will we get back to carribean beach after returning it.

Second Question. Is there any chance of getting into our rooms about 12 or l and if not will they keep our things as well as our groceries while we head off to the parks? We have 3 rooms and the other two families will fly in about noon on the llth. They will uber to Carribbean Beach. Does $35 sound about right for uber?

Thank you. I have searched these forums and the more I read the more confused I get.

What rental agency are you renting the car from? Have you verified they have an on-site location to return the vehicle to? Did you rent the vehicle as a one-way rental with a different drop off location than pick-up?

I think official check is is 3 or 4 pm for the resort. So, it depends on whether they had any rooms empty the night before that match your rooms that you rented. If not, then it depends on how quickly the last family vacated their room and how quickly housekeeping cleans. But, unlikely. Drop your luggage and groceries off with Bell Services and make sure to mark which ones need to be refrigerated.

No idea re: Uber, but why don't they just take Magical Express for free?

There is only one rental agency on-site that is located at the Dolphin. There are others at some of the hotels located near Disney Springs. I recently dropped mine off at the Hilton. You would have to drop of your luggage and groceries, drop the car and take an Uber back to the resort (or some other destination depending on your plans).

To be thorough...

There's also alamo and national over at the Car Care Center on the way to MK. That's the best one IMO b/c they'll shuttle you to where you need to go on property after you drop it off during their open shuttle hours.

I’m not familiar with that site but even so it’s not on site that you can use wdw transport so not much difference.

It IS on site, and they'll provide transportation wherever you want to go (whether to resort, water parks, parks, DS, etc), and you don't have to wait for WDW (public) transportation. So BIG difference and you posted incorrect information.

Understood. You confirmed what I said. There isn’t a boat, monorail or bus that stops there.
