car rental rates dropping

my alamo rate just went from 215 to 192 is anyone else getting drop in rate from their rental car companies?

You're right! National just dropped from $210 to $195 for our 8 day trip (taxes and discounts included). This is for an intermediate car. I used a $20 entertainment coupon and contract id #5000304 (Walmart discount I think).

Rates are dropping. I checked National (EA) with Priceless code and ent -$20 coupon, 7 days, 11/6-13 and total was $159.57. Was $30 higher a couple of weeks ago.

Still had 134 in may for 8 days. Doubt that it will drop much more. And unless it does, it's still (with gas, parking etc)cheaper to use town car even with an extra transfer (MCO==>Poly===>HRH===>MCO)

Thank you for the heads up. It looks like I'll be getting a full size car from Budget for our week-long stay in January for $136.98 using my Entertainment 20% off code! Can I do any better or is there a reason not to use Budget?

HappyLawyer, thx for the heads-up! January rates were up in the Stratusphere until now. With the Disney Visa rate with Alamo, I was able to get something a bit closer to earth, one that I am quite happy with for MLK weekend.

hey no problem we all have to look out for each other, now don't llaugh but since rates dropped i decided to do a midsize instead of a compact, so i saved 50 cents using the one free day coupon instead of the 15 bucks off
