I swore our trip next week was our last one for awhile, due to finances. Well, we all know how this story ends, I'm already thinking about taking a trip this September. We live in Indy and have always flown, recently staying offsite and renting a vehicle there. If we were to drive down, it would save quite a bit! It's 1000 miles and 16 hours....I think I have almost talked my husband into it..I'm waiting for the perfect moment during our trip to seal the deal!
Here's my question, can I rent a car here with unlimited miles and drive it to Florida and back? This seems like a no brainer, which is why I have to ask. Using the KLM code and a coupon I can get a Full Size SUV for $261.00 for our entire trip, or a minivan for $152.00! This way we don't put the miles on our own vehicles.
My next question is this, I have reserved both with National. At what point is my CC charged, my reservation says BOOKED. Could I wait and cancel one after I see what the selection is both categories and then make my decision there?
