Does anyone know if there is a way to bypass the ridiculous fee car rental agency's charge to those under 25. I really can't afford a $25 day extra charge because I happen to be 13 months shy of being halfway to 30.

Any help at all would be greatly appreciated. If anyone can help it has to be you guys.

When I was under 25, I was covered under my company policy/corporate rate, so I didn't get charged any additional fees. Depending on who you work for and if they have a corporate account you may be able to use it for personal travel.

Unless you can do what Toy Story mentioned, then no, there is no way. It is not silly, it is an insurance thing/rule. Under 25 is considered a high risk driver. I am sure you premiums reflect that on your own auto insurance.

You have to check all possibilities. Hotwire asks for your DOB and adds the appropriate surcharge. I believe Enterprise only charges $12/day surcharge. Check any corporate rates you're entitled to. Frequently they have lower discounts but no under age surcharge.

Try mousesavers and http://www.rentalcodes.com/

Well I look like and idiot. Correct you are, so I will try again. Halfway though my 20's on the way to the big 3-0.
