Car rental question

If I book from a 3 rd party for a rental car at A...can I use the A....reservation and link it to A... website so when I arrive I don’t need to head to the counter??

No need for secrecy: What company are you renting with?

Simply linking a reservation doesn't mean you get to skip the counter. You'll need to refer to the "A" website to figure out what program you need to sign up for to skip the counter. Even then, if it's the first time you've used the service, you still might have to stop at the desk. Hertz does this, not sure about others.

If you are speaking of Alamo, then it depends on what third party you use. I use costcotravel and have always been able to link my reservations with no problem.

As noted above, you will need to look at the Alamo site to see if you can use your reservation to go directly to the cars.
We rented through Alamo Insiders and once I completed their online form, had no issues going directly to the cars.
