I am going to Disney for a quick trip the beginning of April and staying off site. I know boo, but I am getting free lodging staying at my aunts house. Anyway I am traveling alone and will need to rent a car for the 5 days I'm in the Orlando area. I have driven or used ME for the past 10 trips and have no idea where to look. Payless seems really cheap but has gotten bad reviews on Trip Advisor. All of the other companies seem to be much higher than I expected. What are some of the best companies and how do I get a good deal? I would really like to get this taken care of as soon as possible as I leave in less than a month. Thanks for any help.

Check out the car rental threads with codes and coupons to use. Just shop around and you should get a pretty good deal.

Try mousesavers.com They have codes and coupon codes for most of the rental companies.

This far out and you will see high rates. You will find better rates the Tues before your trip. Thats when car rental co. relase their last minute rates. I NEVER book my flight until the Tue before we leave and my last 5 trips including the one i took 3 weeks ago, I have never paid more than $100 for a weekly mid size rental with alamo.

Check the last minute discounts on www.rentalcodes.com about 2 weeks before your trip, but don't coun't on there being a last minute discount, be sure to book something you can cancel before that in case a better rate doesn't appear.
