Car Rental near SSR?

I want to be able to rent a car for the day. Is their a location near SSR I can walk too??

No, no car rentals near SSR but other options are:

Dollar, Alamo, National have locations at some of the hotels along Hotel Blvd which is "sort of" walking distance from SSR

At the Dolphin Resort which you could get to by taking a bus to Epcot then walking to it or by boat through the International Gateway entrance to the World Showcase.

There are Car Care locations, one near the Ticket Transportation at Magic Kingdom. I believe Alamo is there.

Use a travel website, Expedia, Orbitz, Yahoo to search using SSR's address. They may give you an idea of locations and which Car Rental companies are available.

My brother rented a car at the high rise hotel just across Buena Vista Blvd. He said the rental counter is inside the lobby, just walk through the front entrance. If you can walk to DTD, you should be able to walk to this hotel. The hotel is right by the big traffic light were DTD starts. It is on the same side of the street as the Fire Station.

Dollar is across the street from the DTD Market Place bus stop. It is located in the Regal Sun Resort lobby. It's only a 15 min walk.

We used Alamo at the Car Care Center - they have complimentary shuttle service to and from so it was really quite simple and painless.
