Car rental near HoJo

I would like to rent a car to go to Universal one day. Are there options nearby so I do not have to go back to the airport?

There is a rental place in DTD, it's at the end farthest from Harbor and closest to the DLR hotels. Around the corner from Compass books. I don't know what company it is tho.

Alamo is the one at Downtown Disney.

There's another Alamo/National office (DD location doesn't have National) at the Desert Palm Inn on Katella, right behind the Lion King parking lot. They have a shuttle to take you back, not sure if they'd pick you up if you called. Probably so, they were really nice when I returned a car there. There used to be an Avis at the Best Western Park Place Inn on Habor, but I don't know if it's still there. Then there's an Enterprise near the Convention Center and they offer the pick up service.

There's a Budget on Harbor. Check out Mousesavers for great codes for cars. I'm getting a car our first day so we can go to the beach. I was amazed at how cheaply I can get one there!
