car rental near Dolphin

I'm staying at all star movies and have an alamo rental near the dolphin. wdw sight says allow 90 minutes for wdw transportation or walking is 15 minutes. anyone familiar enough to know if that is a decent/safe stretch to walk in the AM? i'll be with my 8 yo DD. princess:
