Car Rental Insurance question???

Ok , here's the deal. I reserved a car with Hertz(long story, taking train to Orlando and Hertz has shuttle to pick you up, at the end of rental time you leave the car at the station- drop keys in a drop box) I reserved the car in my name , with my AAA discount. I got a great rate for an economy car-$203 total for 12 days.

My question is , my car insurance is in my husbands name(so is my car). Since I rented the car in my name(because of AAA discount), will his insurance cover the car. I will have to pay an extra $30 if I want him as a second driver on the rental car. Will the car then be covered with his insurance?
