Car rental in St. Martin???

Plan on renting in car in St. Martin to beach hop. Have been to St. Martin before and know the island but do not know of a good car rental place in Phillipsburg. Any help out there?

There is an Avis and a Dollar nearby. I have also read that there is another office or two at the building at the end of the pier.

My in-laws rented a car and drove it all over the island. At the end of the day, they had us return it and it was about a 5 minute walk from the ship. No problems with it on either front.

Hi - we rented from Hertz earlier this month (11/2) and last year on our first trip. I made an advance reservation over the internet and got much better deal than just walking up. The car rental area is a very short walk from the ship. Just remember they close at 6pm so you'll need to return the car well before the sailing time.

I cant remember who we rented from but I remember it was an easy walk from the ship. We loved it went to the beach. visited a fort up on a hill outside of Marigot. And did a little shopping. We loved it and are considering doing it again except this time we have 2 families of 4 going. I think it cost us around 80.00 for the jeep.
