car rental help

sorry if this is in the wrong place. DH and me are coming from the UK and my hubby is disabled and needs a left footed accelerator. he's not insured to drive a normal car but i'm sure he is on the only Brit amputee that wants to rent a car for Disney.

i don't know how to go about getting a car rental with a flip pedal so that i could also drive. we normally through virgin holidays as a package any advice/ experience greatly appreciated.

I've never heard of this being offered in a rental car, but you might be able to find it with some companies.

I believe you're more likely to find hand operated vehicles available at car rental companies. Ring at least 1 week in advance and explain your needs so they can have something ready for your arrival.

However, if you need a car with special needs do not "ring at least a week in advance" I would book that when you book the car.
