Car Rental From Port Orleans

I am looking into a day trip to Kennedy Space Center during our upcoming WDW trip in September. We are staying at POR Riverside and will be using Disney transportation. How would I go about getting a car rental for the day from POR?

Use the Carcare Center near MK, they will pick you up, take you to the center, and return you to the resort when you return the car. We have done this many times while staying at POR.

You can also check the rates with Budget, they are located at the Doubletree in DTD. There is a shuttle that will pick you up at your hotel. There may be other rental companies and locations in the DTD area but I have not used those.

We have rented from Dollar which is in what used to be the Grosvenor. I can't think of the new name of it. It is across from DTD and they will send a shuttle to pick you up in the morning.

As other poster said you can rent Alamo from either Disneys Car care center or another option is their Dolphin hotel location.
