can anyone here on the boards give me a insight on Fox car rental out of MCO. Never used them and at the moment they are the least expensive. Thanks.

They have REALLY bad reviews, mostly related to:
- long waits for shuttle, then extremely long waits once there
- car unavailable at pick-up, upsell to more expensive vehicle
- hard-sells for insurance, pre-paid gas, toll pass; rude and deceptive desk employees (saying toll pass, extra ins, etc are required by FL law, when they are not)
- cars dirty, damaged
- and many, many, many reports of credit card being charged extra for the same insurance, pre-paid gas & tolls that renters declined, within days after returning car

Search in the Transportation forum, & Google Fox Car Rental reviews (Consumer Affairs & Yelp have quite a few reviews) - it appears that many people were lured in by a cheap price with Fox, only to find it a horrible experience, and paying about double the agreed upon rate.

May is a long way off for a car rental. Book a cancelable reservations once you find a decent rate, then keep checking.

Transportation board generally has a monthly thread for car rentals that can be especially helpful.
